We are ready for the AI era
This post discusses the AI era and how artificial intelligence can be used for manipulation. With an aging population and reduced digital skills, Romania is highly vulnerable.
This is conducted by Deleanu Stefan-Lucian. The credentials are at the bottom of the page.
The purpose of the experiment
Romania is undergoing a forced transition to a world vastly different from the one its citizens are accustomed to. A country that has not rapidly adopted technology and has not developed the necessary adaptation mechanisms for transitioning to a technology-dependent world, the masses of citizens have come to be influenced through social platforms.
The experiment aims to quantify the actual costs of conducting campaigns to grow Facebook pages. The number of followers/page likes has a significant impact on public opinion regarding a candidate.
Through such research strategies, both the cost and the impact that malicious cyber actors (primarily private criminal entities, but also state actors) can have on public opinion can be quantified.
Planning
We will use various AI models, primarily FLUX 1.0 - DEV, fine-tuned with LoRA models to enhance image accuracy, as well as to train the model to improve its efficiency throughout the experiments.
Through the continuous training of the LLM model that will handle ideation, as well as the text-to-image model in generating viral ideas, and then executing them efficiently, we hope to build a mathematical model to explain virality.
Furthermore, we will monitor and analyze the audience susceptible to these attacks, using AI tools to identify whether they are legitimate individuals or bots (either stolen accounts or fake accounts).
